This month, my free fonts spotlight focuses on some fun fonts to use in Christmas projects for kids! There are quite a few lists out there of free fonts that feature candy cane letters or letters with snow on them. But I looked for fonts that evoked the holidays yet are easy for young readers to read (including some simple script faces). I found some art deco faces, old-time serif faces, hand-written and bouncy faces, plus some retro scripts, and even a readable blackletter font.
Today’s selection is from fontsquirrel, another trustworthy source that vets all their fonts and gives credit to the creators. Download links are after the infographic.

I recently completed the third set of drawings, Swedish Jul, for my Winter Holidays series and set them up in my TPT store. They are a lot of fun to research! They join the clip art sets for Japanese New Year and Irish Christmas. These clip art sets come with a brief overview of the objects and how they are used during the celebrations. [edit – I have closed my TPT shop. Please visit my creative market shop for clip art sets.]
They are also available in my creative market store as vector clip art.
